the 24th lunar mansion sa’d al-su’ud, offers us relief. this prophecy encourages us to ask for what we need and to feel the universe meeting us with loving nurturance. to acknowledge our desires and to bring forth into this world all the projects we’ve imagined.  feeling the loving support of our friends and family in the process. this mansion is all about motherly love. but if we’ve been afflicted with the mother wound, whether it’s from our mother’s death, childhood abuse, neglect and/or abandonment, this medicine will take a bit of work to receive. there’s a broken trust experienced by those of us carrying the failure of our primary caregiver to nurture us. and the only way to feel safe in a world that didn’t want us or love us, is to grieve the failed relationship and then to make friends with our inner child. the rebuilding of self-care and the showing up reliably for our innocent kid is the order of business needed when pulling the 24th lunar mansion card. it’s difficult medicine, but so worth the initial torment. we deserve to feel authentically and sincerely loved. and this begins when we know deep in our bones, it wasn’t personal. we were innocent.
