al-simak’s talisman or avatar indicates a dog chasing its tail. this is full-blown futility on display. the definition of insanity being:  trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. here we call a thing a thing. we believe people when they tell us who they are. we wake up from their insidious spell.  we ghost those relationships that take us for granted, use us and leave us feeling gaslit.  we arrange for better employment and savor that feeling of turning in a resignation that was long overdue.  good luck replacing us!  and cheers to us for turning over a new leaf.  and stepping into a new chapter, honoring our worthiness.
